DESCRIPTION
HOPE (originally VENTURE) is a beautifully restored cutter-rigged cruiser built by the Forrester Brothers of Detroit. We can trace ownership back to 1940 – HOPE has always been well-maintained by the families that owned her. Recent work includes new exterior decks in 2021; exterior hull painted/new seams in 2021; varnished Sitka spruce mast and boom in 2021; marine engine rebuilt in 2021; and new interior cushions (off-white with 4-inch foam) in 2021. She is completely provisioned for cruising and comes with an 8-foot Avon inflatable dinghy. Survey available upon request.
