Peter K. Sterrett – Rhode Island office
Peter grew up in Long Beach, California, where boating first became an obsession after sailing a trimaran to Catalina Island. He was hooked and the boats only got bigger from there – now a 38’ Sabre.
With over 35 years of business and management experience, his ability to understand client needs, his Eagle Scout ethics and his open approach to communications put customers at ease. His business insights, responsiveness and organizational skills keep the business running on an even keel.
In his spare time he’s sailing. Whether in Narragansett Bay and nearby islands or on deliveries to the Caribbean and Bermuda, his expertise and cheerful demeanor are a valuable addition to any crew. He has also raced throughout Narragansett Bay on Classic Herreshoffs and is a member of the Herreshoff Marine Museum.
Previously, Sterrett was Development Director of the Herreshoff Marine Museum, where he gained an appreciation for classic yachts. Previously, he worked for the Boy Scouts of America in a variety of leadership roles.
