2001 Dudley Dix 70’ Schooner, Annapolis and Cape Cod, USA, NEW PRICE: $749,900 USD (boat and business)
Description:
A fine sailing vessel that cuts a romantic profile, Liberté is a three-masted staysail rigged schooner that offers a unique business and lifestyle opportunity! Custom built for the trade, she has generous seating and deck space to serve as a singular venue for private charters, weddings, corporate outings, family gatherings and other group events as well as public open-booking sailings. Or, keep her for your own - she is ready for the liveaboard lifestyle to take you wherever the wind blows. Well-designed and capable of crossing oceans, the Liberté is a grand experience for all.
USCG certified with current Certificate of Inspection (COI) (latest inspection and re-certification in May 2023) for 49 passengers and 5 crew, Liberté can be purchased with a turnkey business operation, a solid book of business and loyal repeat customers. An owner-operated business, she has sailed in Falmouth, Massachusetts for 32 years for a ten-week high season from July 4th weekend through Labor Day, and in Annapolis, Maryland for 27 years in the spring and fall. A business expansion into the Caribbean for more year-round operation is a real possibility. This is a unique, independent lifestyle with a good income for an owner-operator.
The current owners built Liberte to spec and have poured heart and soul into her for 3+ decades but are ready to retire and are looking for a special person or crew to carry on the legacy. If you’re ready to live the dream afloat, contact us! Serious inquiries only, a non-disclosure will be required before any financials are shared.
